EMCC Family Chat - Introducing a Season of Prayer and General Assembly Updates

EMCC Family Chats – Preparing for Assembly 2025

Family Chats are hosted by the EMCC National Board and National Team as an opportunity for the EMCC Family to hear updates and provide feedback to our national leaders. The chats are 60 minutes. Credential holders and representatives from our member church boards are encouraged to attend. All are welcome.

This Family Chat will orient EMCC members to the plans, themes, and registration details for our upcoming 2025 General Assembly (May 1-3). Exciting plans for a Season of Prayer from March 21 – April 30 (40 days of prayer together) will be provided.

What makes EMCC Connected worth my time investment?  

EMCC Connected is all about connection and dialogue. Of course, there will be great learning, but the difference between Connected and other online teachings is the opportunity to connect with our EMCC family and discuss what we are learning and how to apply it in our context while learning from one another in smaller breakout room discussions.

How often do EMCC Connected events take place?

We have a variety of events throughout the year. We aim for no more than 2 a month. Be sure to subscribe below to receive email notifications regarding upcoming events. 


Can I or someone from my church host an event on the EMCC Connected platform? 

Yes! We launched EMCC Connected to help our EMCC family connect with one another and be resoured. This means that anyone within the EMCC can apply to host an event. If you or your church are interested in hosting an event please see our event application form

What are the criteria for hosting an event?

  1. To provide connection among the EMCC Family.
  2. Available to participants across the EMCC Family.
  3. Facilitators are EMCC National Team Approved.
  4. Topics are EMCC National Team Approved.
  5. Consider integration of ministries across the EMCC.
  6. EMCC Connected Events are intended to be broader than regional events.
  7. Adhere to the articles of faith and reflect attitudes, behaviour, and character of Jesus.
  8. Applications must be submitted minimum 30 days in advance of the event.
  9. Include interactive breakout times and/or Q&A times
  10. EMCC Connected Events can be 60-90 minutes long.
