Lucy Chaimiti has been ministering to refugees at Adam House since 2002, first as front-line staff, and as Executive Director since November 2012. Adam House offers a warm welcome to refugee claimants by providing short-term housing; assistance with the refugee claimant process; orientation to life in Canada; referrals to government and community supports; and help in the transition to a home in the community. Adam House is committed to sharing the word of God as staff and volunteers care and share their lives with residents.
Lucy (nee Hill) grew up in Lion's Head, ON and attended Bethel EMC until moving to Toronto. She is also a wife to Tafadzwa, and mother to 2 precious children, Jayden and Maleeya.
