  • 75th Anniversary GraphicNew Tribes Mission (NTM) was founded in 1942 with a vision to see a thriving church for every people group. Recently, NTM changed their name to Ethnos Canada, noting that the vision hasn’t changed but the world has. They found that the name “New Tribes Mission” was drawing unwanted scrutiny in places where God is opening doors for ministry. Jason Bechtel, Public Relations manager for Ethnos Canada, explains that “Ethnos is the “nations” that Christ referred to when He commanded His followers to “make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19) …. It’s the word from which we get "ethnic" and "ethnicity", and it means people groups.”

Of the world’s 6,500 people groups, 2,500 are still unreached. Ethnos Canada helps local churches mobilize, equip, and coordinate missionaries to these people.

On Saturday, July 8th, Ethnos is celebrating their 75th anniversary with a Jungle Camp Open House and $40 helicopter rides on their Durham campus. Learn more about the invitation to celebrate with them here.
