EMCC hosts an event called gener8 annually to inspire young adults to live on mission in their own context.  This year the event was held at River’s Edge Camp in Alberta on the first weekend in June. A dozen young adults and members of the EMCC National Team walked together through the seven markers of the Way of Jesus. Storytellers unpacked how they are following Jesus in their context and invited participants into conversation about what this could look like in their own lives. Over the course of the weekend the stories and small group times brought the Way of Jesus to life for people and offered a launching point as they continue to follow Jesus. Some participants were pleasantly surprised that this simple paradigm for following Jesus and living on mission with Him was, in fact the growing ethos of EMCC. It came as a breath of life to them.
