STUART, Rev. Roy H. (EMCC Ordained Minister)

1932-2024

Roy left us peacefully early Sunday morning, March 17, 2024, at 91. He joins his beloved wife Irene and is survived by their children David (Kathy), Joy (Arthur Dyck), Ellen (Doug Kunyk) and Gloria (Jim Rudenberg), 19 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Roy and Irene began their ministry in the Gatineau Hills in 1967. Roy was the founding pastor of Eglise La Pêche (est.1983), retiring in 2002. The family is sincerely thankful to the staff of CHSLD des Collines in Masham, Quebec, who so kindly cared for Roy during the last 16 months of his life.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, April 12, 2024, at 2:00 pm at the Wakefield Community Center, 38 Chemin de-la-Vallée-de-Wakefield, Wakefield, QC. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Bible Society or Des Collines Health Foundation.
