After a recent illness, Elaine passed away peacefully surrounded by her children on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at Rockyview Hospital in Calgary. She will be forever loved and remembered by her children Peter (Nelly), Frank (Margaret), Pauline (Henry) Zondervan, Joanne (Walter) Richert, Linda (Henry) Stel, Sharon (John) Sieswerda, and Richard (Kathy). She is deeply missed by her children, twenty-one grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at 2:30pm at the Chapel of Eden Brook Funeral Home (corner of 17th Avenue and Lower Springbank Road) in Calgary, Alberta.
