Norma Alene (nee Gray) Leonard passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 6, 2019. She was reunited with her beloved husband J. Leslie A. Leonard in her eternal resting place – Heaven. She was a loving mother of Kenneth (Louise), Larry* (Pauline), Kevin (Vana) and Dianne, a dear grandmother to Alicyn (Jonathan), Travis (Kim), Cameron, Joel (Noella), Deanndra (Bob), Jennifer (Brandon) and Nathanael and a dear great-grandmother to Ty, Hannah, Alicya, Justus, Aubrey, Adalyn and Evelyn. She is survived by sisters Elda (Lorne Ruegg, and the late Harold Knights) and Meryl (Al Hudson). Predeceased by sisters Earla (Carl Wideman) and Darline (the late Grant Wideman). Daughter of the late Walter and Mary Gray. *Larry has a lifetime grant pastor status with EMCC.
Norma will be deeply missed by both Leonard and Gray extended family and cherished friends.
Resting at O’Neill Funeral Home, 6324 Main St., Stouffville (905-642-2855) on Friday, July 12, 2019 from 3-5 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at 12:00 noon at EastRidge Evangelical Missionary Church (formerly Stouffville Missionary Church) 12485 Tenth Line, Stouffville. Interment at Stouffville Cemetery to follow. If desired, donations to Stayner Camp & Conference Center or The Gideons.
