Gino Favero passed away peacefully in his 81st year, at Guelph General Hospital on Friday, July 17, 2015.
Beloved husband of Maria Favero (nee Roncato) for 46 wonderful years. Loving father of Bruna George (Paul) of Calgary, and Silvia Favero of Waterloo. Proud nonno of Aaron, Alexander (1996), Sarah, Stephen, Adam and Rolland. Gino also leaves behind his sisters Maria Pia Menegotto and Emma Baggio. Predeceased by parents Eugenio and Ida Favero and siblings Giovanina Cassanego and Antonio Favero. He will be missed by his nieces, nephews and many other family members.
The family will receive family and friends at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin Street N., Guelph (
519-822-4731), on Monday, July 20th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A vigil will take place at 3:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Basilica of Our Lady Immaculate, 28 Norfolk Street, Guelph, on Tuesday, July 21st at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Marymount Cemetery to follow.
