Frank A.R. Braun of Listowel - Age 53

Frank A.R. Braun, Jr. of Listowel, passed away December 16, 2016 at the Listowel Memorial Hospital following prolonged illnesses.

He leaves a wife Joanna (Stuckey) Braun and three children Kyla, Jared and Zachary, all of Listowel, mother Suzanne (St. Louis) Braun of Kitchener, brother Anthony Braun and family of London, step-mother Lesley (McKay) Braun of Kitchener, and cousins Marianne Bayer of Kincardine and Nancy Curran of Ottawa. Frank was predeceased by his father Frank and brother John.

Frank was born May 14, 1963 in Kitchener, Ontario. Over the course of his life he was employed as a welder, fitter, teacher, minister, electrical technician, and training director and youth worker for Youth for Christ. He has enjoyed jazz, golf, reading, camping, canoeing, history, movies, show jumping, curling, hunting, classical singing, choir directing, band leading, playing bass, building things and talking.

A memorial service and luncheon will be held at the Listowel Evangelical Missionary Church on Wednesday, December 21 at 3 pm preceded by visitation at 1 pm.

Donations can be made to Listowel Youth for Christ, or Listowel Memorial Hospital and can be arranged through the Listowel Community Family Funeral Home (519 291 4947).

Frank  served with Youth For Christ for many years and was ordained with EMCC in 2001.
