Greetings EMCC Pastors and Church Leadership,
It has been a tremendous joy for me to serve the EMCC as a Regional Minister for the past 13 years. Some of you I have journeyed with closely as I served as your First Response Regional Minister, and others I have connected with at denominational events, etc. But at this season of life, it seems wise for me to transition into retirement after serving over 40 years as an EMCC pastor. God has been so good and faithful. All I can say is, to God be all the glory.
Since John Cressman has been elected as EMCC President, the EMCC has been making some staffing changes. As you know, Jeff Knott was hired as a Regional Minister to replace John Cressman. Jeff began on staff on July 15th and will be working with a team of volunteer Regional Minister Assistants to cover a significant portion of our region in Canada.
The remaining EMCC Pastors and Churches will be covered by the Regional Ministers from Alberta until the EMCC is able to hire some RM replacements for me. They too will be supported by Regional Minister Assistants in some areas.
The EMCC acknowledges this is not optimum, please bear with us as we journey through this temporary interim solution.
