Would you be willing to serve God in a hands-on way in another culture this winter? A sister congregation in the community of Lomenys in the Central Plateau Region of Haiti has asked for help in the construction of a desperately needed church building. This group of about 100 people are currently meeting in a dilapidated wooden structure that was built in the late 60’s.
Eric Klarholm of Macoun Evangelical Missionary Church in Macoun, SK is committed to leading a work team in late February 2015 that will help with the construction of a new cement block building with a tin roof. Additional team members are needed to get the job done. If you have construction experience or like to work with your hands and are up for a new adventure in service, please consider joining this team. For details, contact Eric Klarholm at bigeric_63@hotmail.com.
If you can’t actually go but would still like to help, consider a financial contribution to this project. The estimated cost of construction is $20,000 US. You can donate online here.
