Over the past two years, EMCC has been developing a relationship with a grassroots movement in Northern India known as Yeshu Darbar (Court of Jesus), which has seen thousands of people come to know Jesus. Out of this relationship, we have come to know Vishal Mangalwadi, who will be speaking at the EMCC General Assembly this year.
Leaders of Yeshu Darbar are connected with SHIATS University in Allahabad. SHIATS University has a vision to see the expansion of education in rural villages throughout northern India. EMCC introduced a new building technology to the Engineering faculty of SHIATS that could be used for building schools quickly and economically.
A pilot project which will serve as a chapel was completed in November 2014 in the village of Harrai.
