Thank you for your patience and prayers as we have walked through the search process to present a nominee for President at the General Assembly in May. After much prayer and due diligence, we are pleased to present Rev. Kervin Raugust as our President Nominee.
We have much to share with you concerning Kervin, and will provide more information within the next two weeks so that you can give prayerful consideration to our nominee. For now, please know that we have a great sense of clarity from the Lord as we have sought after His will in this matter. Kervin, together with his wife Joan, has been a pastor among us for over 34 years, serving in our churches at Centre Street in Calgary (currently), Salem in Calgary, Zion in Chilliwack, and Norbridge in Lethbridge. He has also served as President of Hillcrest Christian College and as assistant to the EMCC Canada West District Superintendent. He brings a wealth of leadership and ministry experience.
Over the coming weeks we plan to share with you many more details about Kervin's character, experience and competencies, and especially his passion and vision for the EMCC. Between now and General Assembly in May, we expect to send at least three more communications that will unpack for you who Kervin is and why we are confident in this nomination.
