    February 3, 1942 – March 12, 2025

    On March 12, 2025 Brandon (Brad) Olson passed away peacefully at the age of 83. 

    Brad is lovingly remembered by his wife, Donna, of 59 years; children, Tom (Pam), Rachel (Cam), Becky, Chris (Sandra); grandchildren, Hailey (Ernesto), McKenzie, Alyssa, Megan, Caeley, Bethany, Taylor (Cole), Zoë; great-grandchildren, Lilli, Mateo, Sophia, Liam; siblings, Robert (Geraldine), Sandra (Kenneth), Heather (Wilfred), Dawn, and Richard (Coleen). He was predeceased by his parents, Oscar and Margaret Olson.

    Brad was a devoted husband, father, pastor and servant of Jesus Christ, leaving behind a profound legacy of faith, love, and service. 

    From a young age he displayed a selfless character and was a hard worker. He continued this hard work throughout his life including ministering with the Christian and Missionary Alliance as a pastor, building roads with Alberta Transportation and working as a safety educator. He loved to teach and spent years teaching at Peace River Bible Institute and later, Hillcrest Christian College, before joining the Evangelical Missionary Church. He served 27 years as pastor at Richmond Park Church in Edmonton. He also had a passion for missions and made several trips to Guatemala, partnering with local churches and training new pastors.

    Throughout his years of ministry, Brad served in countless communities across Alberta, touching lives and sharing the love of Jesus Christ wherever he went.

    Memorial donations in Brad’s name can be made directly to Alberta Cancer Foundation. 

    A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 11:00am at Heartland Alliance Church (53105 Highway 21, Sherwood Park, AB T8A 4T7). If you are planning to attend the Celebration of Life service, please RSVP via this link.
